The entire surface is built on green, with white acrylic drips running across it.

When I paint, one image is always close at hand: a dense, shadow-filled jungle. After I finished this work, the white drips seemed to wander through that deep, brooding green — as if moving without a fixed path inside it. I named the painting Meiso (迷蒼), bringing together *meisō* (迷走 / wandering) and *ussō* (鬱蒼 / somber, overgrown depth; Japanese: ussou).
