Warm, soft energy moving in circles. That was the impression that came when I stepped back and looked at the finished painting.

While painting, I work with a feeling of trying to uncover something — but what that something is remains unknown until the work is done. In this painting, what appeared was energy circulating gently, warmly. That is why it is called Meguri.
