Thread Lines is a series of works completed by covering all or part of the surface with thread-like lines.

This is the third work in the series — made over a surface of red, yellow, and black laid down with raw energy, then covered entirely with thread-like horizontal lines drawn freehand.

At this stage in the series, the way of drawing the thread-like lines was still being explored. In this piece, the horizontal line alone was chosen as the subject.
