Shipping & Delivery

Thank you very much for your interest in the work of Asahi Tanaka.

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind original created in my studio. I take the utmost care in preparing your artwork for its journey, ensuring it arrives in perfect condition to bring new inspiration to your daily life.

To ensure a smooth experience, please find the details regarding your order and delivery below.

1. About the Artwork

All artworks available on this site are unique, original pieces created by the artist.

Framing

To allow you to appreciate the raw texture and colors of the work, and to give you the freedom to choose a frame that matches your interior, artworks are sold unframed.

Display Preparation

Your artwork will arrive ready to be displayed immediately.
A hanging wire is pre-installed on the back of the piece. All you need is a simple wall hook to start enjoying the art in your space.

Authenticity and Provenance

Every original painting includes the following two marks of authenticity:

  1. Artist’s Signature and Date:
    Signed and dated by the artist on the back of the piece, serving as direct proof of its originality (see image above).
  2. Certificate of Authenticity:
    A separate document containing the title, year of creation, size, medium, and the artist's signature will be enclosed with your order.

Ordering and Payment

Payment Methods

We use Stripe, a secure and highly reliable online payment platform. The following methods are accepted:

  • Credit and Debit Cards:
    Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, etc. Your card information is never stored on our site; it is processed securely by Stripe.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay:
    Easy and secure checkout using your mobile device or computer without re-entering your details.
  • Link by Stripe:
    A service that allows you to complete your purchase faster by securely saving your payment and shipping information.

Order Process

  1. Order:Add your chosen artwork to the cart and complete the checkout. You will receive an automated "Order Confirmation Email" immediately.
  2. Payment Verification:Once payment is confirmed, we will begin preparing your artwork for shipment.
  3. Shipping:As soon as packaging is complete, we will ship the piece and send you a "Shipping Confirmation Email" with a tracking number.
  4. Delivery:Receive and enjoy your new artwork.

Processing Time

Orders are typically shipped within 5 business days after payment confirmation.
Please note that we do not ship on weekends or public holidays.

3. Packaging and Shipping

Packaging Method

To ensure your artwork arrives in pristine condition, each piece is meticulously packed using the following steps:

  1. Wrapped in delicate acid-free tissue paper to protect the surface.
  2. Fitted with protective corner guards to prevent impact damage.
  3. Double-wrapped in bubble wrap for cushioning and waterproofing.
  4. Placed between sturdy cardboard sheets (sandwich structure) to prevent punctures.
  5. Finally, secured in a heavy-duty shipping box with additional padding.

Delivery Options

You can choose between "Shipping" or "Local Pickup."

Option 1: Shipping (Domestic Japan)

    We ship from Nagasaki Prefecture via Yamato Transport (Takkyubin).
  • Shipping Rates:
    To ensure fairness, shipping costs are calculated automatically based on your delivery address and include the cost of professional packaging materials.
    The exact amount will be displayed on the final checkout screen.
    Reference Rate (Size 100):
    From 1,830 JPY (Kyushu/Chugoku) to 3,230 JPY (Hokkaido), tax included.

Option 2: Local Pickup

Customers in Nagasaki or parts of Saga Prefecture can pick up their artwork directly at my flower shop.

4. After Your Artwork Arrives

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the unique nature of original artwork, we generally do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

However, if your artwork arrives damaged due to a shipping accident or if you receive the wrong item, we will handle the situation with the utmost sincerity. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.--

Care Instructions

To preserve the beauty of your artwork for years to come:

  • Avoid displaying the piece in direct sunlight, near air conditioners, or in high-humidity areas (such as kitchens or bathrooms).
  • To remove dust, gently use a soft, dry brush. Do not use chemical wipes or wet cloths, as they may damage the surface.
